Dragons, oh my!!!

Dragons are legendary creatures that feature in the myth of many cultures. There are two distinct cultural traditions of dragons. The first is the Asian dragon with counterparts in Japan, China, Korea and other East Asian countries. The second is the European dragon derived from European folk traditions and ultimately related to Greek and Middle Eastern mythologies. 

Japanese dragons, like most other Asian dragons, are water deities associated with rainfall and bodies of water, and are typically depicted as large, wingless, serpentine creatures with clawed feet. 

Well.... whatever the origin, I think they make glorious earrings!!!
