Salix.....

Inspired by the native Pussy Willows (Salix discolor) that grow in abundance around our property.  One of the first trees to sprout in the Spring.  Their furry catkins  are one of the earliest pollen sources for our honey bees each year!
 
Fold formed and hand forged from a copper sheet  and neatly set on a beautiful natural Slate base.
 
A wonderful conversation starter to display on your coffee table.
 
Included Slate base measures just under 30 cm (12 inches) square.
